Moss Landing Harbor District

Harbor Master's Office The Harbor Master's office is located at 7881 Sandholdt Road [Google Map] and is open daily during regular business hours for berthing assignments, payments, dry storage access and general information. Staff is on duty 24/7.

Community Park

Community Park

Built in 1999, this park was dedicated to the Fishermen of Moss Landing and includes a memorial rock displaying bronze name plates of the fishermen who gave their lives while pursuing the bounties of the sea.

The park is open to the public and includes a picnic area, grass area, dog run, and brick BBQ pit suitable for large gatherings. Please contact the Harbor Master's office at 831.633.5417 for large group reservations.

Community Park Playground

Community Park Playground

The playground was built by 30 local volunteers in 1999. Located adjacent to the picnic areas, the playground was designed for the enjoyment of visiting children, school groups, harbor tenants and the local community.

South Harbor Dry Storage Lot

Dry Storage Lot

The Moss Landing Harbor District owns and operates two dry storage lots. The lots are fenced with locked gates and are available for short or long-term storage of property such as vessels, trailers, vehicles, RV's, large equipment and fishing gear. Rates and fees are available online or contact the Harbor Master's office for more information.

Launch Ramp

Launch Ramps

A new 4-lane launch ramp was built in 2007 with grant funding from the California Department of Boating and Waterways. The launch ramp is located at the Moss Landing North Harbor adjacent to Hwy 1. Launching rates and fees are available online or contact the Harbor Master's office for more information.

Laundry Facilities

Laundry Facility

The laundry facilities are located in the South Harbor and are available to harbor slip holders and temporary berthers. The facility features four coin-operated washer/dryer units and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Please contact the Harbor Master's office for more information.

Public Wharf

Public Wharf

The 900-foot public wharf was completed in 2007 with a loan from the California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank. The wharf is located at the North Harbor off Hwy 1 and is a nice stopping point for travelers. The Wharf is adjacent to the Sea Harvest restaurant and the spectacular harbor and ocean views make it an excellent location for taking photos. There is no fishing allowed from the wharf at this time.

Bilge and Oil Pump-Out Facility

Bilge and Oil Pump-Out Facility

The pump-out facility is located in the South Harbor and is free of charge. The bilge and sewage pump-out is accessible from the maintenance dock across from the harbor office and is available 24/7. The oil and liquid waste pump-out is available during regular business hours. You may also recycle used oil filters
and oil absorbent pads at the facility.

The tenant shower and restroom facilities are available to harbor slip holders and temporary berthers. The facility features four separate restroom/shower units which are open 24/7. Each unit is secured by key-card access. Please contact the Harbor Master's office for more information.

Visitor's Dock

Visitor's Dock

The Visitor Serving Dock is located at the Moss Landing North Harbor adjacent to Hwy 1. The 110-foot dock was built in 2007 with a Boating Infrastructure Grant from the US Fish and Wildlife Service.  The US Coast Guard and historical Tall Ships frequently use this dock for public tours when visiting Moss Landing. Visiting vessels may tie-up for a few minutes or for a few days. Please contact the Harbor Master's office for more information.
